Training & Manpower development for providing services to the Persons with Disabilities.
Serve as resource centre for rehabilitation and special education of persons with disabilities.
Training of the rehabilitation professionals, village level workers, multi rehabilitation workers and other concerned functionaries in Govt. and Non-Govt. sectors.
Undertake the research and development with specific reference to the disability and disability rehabilitation.
Undertake designing, fabrication, fitment & delivery of aids and appliances for persons with disabilities.
To undertake public education programme for creation of awareness in community about disability & disability rehabilitation.
To establish linkages with existing medical, educational and employment services (for identification, assessment and service provision).
To stimulate growth of service by encouraging and supporting organizations, parents group and self-help groups and others concerned departments/institutions.
To undertake human resources development for disability rehabilitation.
